...accept
responsibility for their decisions and their impact in the world. They're not looking for someone to “diagnose”
what is wrong, to provide them with hope, give them answers or hand them a plan or vision to follow. They are looking for someone to be a facilitative
partner in their growth, someone who will support their vision and creativity, help them tap into their own wisdom, and trust
their capacity to generate deep, authentic, integral solutions. Someone with whom they can collaborate, explore, and work
through to the other side of the inevitable challenges of life. They know that, ultimately, their lives and contribution to
the world is theirs to create and live by.
...want a
coaching partnership that is powerful and transformative and they're willing to do their part to create it.
They
are prepared
to prioritize the time, resolve, self-patience, and investment required to grow themselves and their impact through our work
together.
... carry realistic expectations regarding
the change process. Coaching can be transformative and it can create deep, wide ripple effects in
one's life and world. But our clients know that, while some changes can happen quickly, the deeper currents of transformation
take time. For the coaching relationship to develop and become powerful, it requires sustained commitment and the willingness
to examine and work through old patterns of thinking and action. An openness to experiment, reflect, try new approaches and
stand in unfamiliar places is required as part of the journey.
... have a long-term commitment to their growth and impact. It takes time, mindfulness, deep reflection
and resolute courage to overcome the limitations of the old paradigm and the status quo. Therefore, coaching with VisionLegacy
requires a minimum of three to six months to create results. If you are not ready to make such a sustained
commitment, you should probably consider other growth opportunities. Our process asks a lot of you — in time, reflection,
and experimentation — because the implications of our work is ultimately transformative. In the end, our clients get
as much out of the process as they put into it.
If
you have a shorter term need - consider attending a VisionLegacy speaking engagements or
one of our workshops or retreats. While the impact of a longer-term, one-on-one
relationship is naturally greater, these other options can often serve as the catalyst for stimulating insight and the resolve
for greater action.
